A 2.3-magnitude earthquake struck about 4 miles southeast of Diamond Bar at 9:51 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Beginning on Monday, March 21stthrough Wednesday, March 25th, the Bombay Beach area near the Salton Sea experienced a cluster of over 60 small earthquakes, with the largest measuring 4.8 magnitude. Thankfully, there have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with these earthquakes. While there is little chance of these earthquakes triggering a larger quake on the San Andreas Fault , it is imperative that everyone take the necessary steps to be ready for an earthquake. The most important thing you can do is DROP, COVER, and HOLD ON.
