The American Red Cross has released a press release in regards to the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the central coast of Peru on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Working with the International Federation of Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies, much needed resources and supplies are being sent to help aid those that have been affected.
