Now is the Time to Save a Life! Thursday, August 28, 2008 (0 reads)
American Red Cross Blood Services is making an urgent appeal to local residents to help avert a shortage of blood supplies by calling 1.800.GIVE.LIFE or by logging onto givelife.org to make an appointment to donate blood or platelets. During the summer months, blood supplies are traditionally low as donors go on vacation and work sites hold fewer blood drives. We need your help! Each blood donation can save up to 3 lives. If you are 17 years of age or older, and in generally good health, please call 1.800.GIVE.LIFE or log onto givelife.org to make an appointment. We host blood drives every Monday from 1-7pm, except on holidays, at the Arcadia Chapter.
