What better way to observe Fire Safety Week October 4-10th than by thanking those who work so hard to make sure that our community is safe. Stop by our office any time during office hours between now and October 8th to sign thank you posters that will be given to the local Fire Department. Then join us on October 8th from 4-6pm when we invite the Fire Department and Forest Service to join us for cookies. We also encourage you to remember and practice these simple steps to make sure you home is fire safe.

September is National Preparedness Month. Across the nation families are urged to prepare for emergencies such as power failures, house fires, and natural disasters. Most people have learned the importance of an emergency kit at home and in your car with water, food, a flashlight, radio, and first aid kit.
