We invite you to help the Arcadia Chapter Youth Services Program as we thank our local Fire Department and Forest Service for their incredible efforts in fighting the recent fires.  What better way to observe Fire Safety Week October 4-10th than by thanking those who work so hard to make sure that our community is safe.  Stop by our office any time during office hours between now and October 8th to sign thank you posters that will be given to the local Fire Department.  Then join us on October 8th from 4-6pm when we invite the Fire Department and Forest Service to join us for cookies.  We also encourage you to remember and practice these simple steps to make sure you home is fire safe.

  • Make Your Home Fire Safe - Install smoke detectors on all levels of the house and outside each sleeping area.
  • Plan Your Escape Routes -  Determine 2 ways out of each room and decide on a meeting place that yoru family will meet up if seperated.
  • Escape Safely - Once you have exited safely, stay out!  Call 911 from your cell phone or a neighbors home.
