The Evangelical Formosan Church of East Valley collected $6,500.00 from the church congregation to go towards the Southern California Wildfires that recently occurred. On Thursday, November 29, 2007 Rev. Min Lang Huang, Senior Pastor for the church, Wencheng Lin, Chairman for the Institute for Taiwanese Studies as well as Shoane Wang, former member of the Arcadia Chapter Board of Directors, delivered the generous donation to the Chapter. Bob Deao, Executive Director and Josiah Au, member of the Arcadia Chapter Board of Directors, were present to accept the donation. Representatives from the Taiwan Daily  and Chinese L.A. Daily News were also on hand to take pictures and interviews.
