Hats Off to our Volunteers!
Hats Off to our Volunteers!

Arcadia Chapter Volunteers were recognized for their volunteer efforts at the Red Cross in 2006 to 2007 at a Hats Off to You! luncheon at Embassy Suites on April 21st.  Without the work our wonderful volunteers, we could not provide our programs and services to the community.  THANK YOU to all Arcadia Chapter Volunteers.

The Arcadia Chapter appreciates the commitment of our longtime volunteers that retired in 2006 and 2007. While we hate to say goodbye to any of our volunteers, we understand that sometimes change is good. We appreciate all that they have done for us during their time at the Red Cross.  The final award of the day  -  Volunteer of the Year   -  was awarded to Peter     Siberell.  Pete joined the Red Cross in July of 2002 as a part of our Board of        Directors.  Event with his extremely busy schedule he still manages to make time for the Red Cross.  His input regarding finances, fundraising, governance and public   relations have all been made with the goal of improving the image and programs and services of the Arcadia Chapter and of the Red Cross.  He has been instrumental in the success of our Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser.  He is currently serving his second term on our Board of Directors.  He is an excellent representative for the Red Cross in the community, and is committed to supporting volunteerism in many areas.   Congratulations Pete!
